Day 24

Today I had a special visit with a very special friend.  Michelle and I have been friends since I was just a shy girl in 10th grade band with no one to hang out with at the required football games.  Michelle to the rescue.  We spent a lot of hours together over the next few years.  We had good times and bad but we always remained friends.  She stood beside me the day Brian and I got married.  Over the years, we have somehow managed to stay in touch even though it has sometimes been years between visits.  She moved across the country to Oregon, but we still get together when we can.  It always feels like old times.

Day 23

Beef - it's what's for dinner.  And it was quite tasty too.

Preparations are being made for the Fall Festival at church.  I hit the motherload at Dollar Tree.  I am very excited about my finds.  It really makes me want to break out all of the fall decorations.
